About the Lab

A homelab in Timisoara where industrial automation meets modern infrastructure.

Run by Unified Automation, this lab exists to prototype real industrial patterns end to end: from soft-PLCs speaking S7 and Modbus, through MQTT and OPC UA, into time-series storage, dashboards and project tooling — all on hardware that fits under a desk.

The twist: the entire environment is operated through conversation. An AI with Model Context Protocol access deploys containers, clones services between nodes, diagnoses incidents at hypervisor level and writes this site. The lab is both a playground and a proof: infrastructure as dialogue.

Everything here is reproducible, automated, and slightly over-engineered — exactly as a lab should be.
